Vantage Portfolio ("the app", "the service") is a free application for tracking a stock portfolio, following market news and analyst commentary, receiving price alerts, and discussing markets with other users. The service is operated by Thibault Van Renne, Noorwegenstraat 51, 9940 Evergem, Belgium ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
You sign in with your Apple or Google account. One account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this app is investment advice. Prices, charts, news summaries, analyst price targets, AI-generated analysis, and community posts are provided for information and entertainment only. They are not a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or other instrument, and they do not consider your personal circumstances. We are not a broker, investment firm, or financial adviser and are not licensed to provide investment services. All investment decisions, and their results, are exclusively your own. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional.
AI features run on an API key you connect from your own Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI account. That usage is governed and billed by your provider under your agreement with them; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for provider availability, output quality, or charges. AI output can be wrong — Section 4 applies fully to it.
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service; attempt unauthorized access; scrape or bulk-harvest data; reverse engineer the app except where the law permits; use the service for unlawful purposes, including market manipulation or insider dealing; or circumvent rate limits or moderation.
The forum exists for respectful discussion of markets and investing. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Prohibited: harassment, hate, or personal attacks; spam or advertising; pump-and-dump or other manipulation schemes; sharing material non-public information; sexual or violent content; impersonation; doxxing.
You retain ownership of what you post and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it within the service. You are solely responsible for your content. We may remove any content or restrict any account at our discretion to keep the community safe.
The app, its design, and its software are our property or that of our licensors. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your devices. Third-party trademarks (including ticker symbols and company names) belong to their owners.
The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, investments, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service — including investment losses, data inaccuracies, missed or erroneous alerts, moderation decisions, or service interruptions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to €100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other users, or create legal risk, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
We may modify these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ghent, Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
